If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, influenza (flu), or other respiratory illnesses, and would like to speak with a healthcare provider, contact the Assessment & Treatment Centre to make an appointment to speak with a provider without needing to access the Emergency Department.
A Registered Nurse will assess your symptoms over the phone, and provide advice which could include an in-person assessment, testing, treatment options, or advice on how to care for yourself or your family member at home.
The Assessment & Treatment Centre is intended for patients who are experiencing moderate or worsening respiratory symptoms. If you are experiencing severe symptoms, go to the nearest Emergency Department, or call 911. Severe symptoms include: difficulty breathing, chest pains, feelings of confusion or losing consciousness.
