The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following position with a highly motivated, team-orientated professional:

Casual

Groundskeeper

The Groundskeeper provides a safe environment for staff, patients, and the public through the maintenance of all outside areas, as well as project work as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all entrances and walkways
  • Maintain parking lots, flower beds, and green areas
  • Maintain all outside surfaces, treated wood, concrete, metal handrails, and exterior walls and windows
  • Coordinate the moving of all furniture, equipment, and/or other items

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the safe operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment related to the job
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the job; some heavy exertion (weight lifted over 40 lbs)
  • Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; accountability, integrity, humility, compassion and respect
  • Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status to be presented prior to hire

This is a unionized position. Salary is as per CBA; $26.60/hr. plus 11% in lieu of benefits. Applicants are requested to forward a completed resume and cover letter to: hr@drhc.on.ca
