Job Opportunity: Director of Integrated Care

The Kiiwetinoong Healing Waters Ontario Health Team (KHWOHT) is dedicated to fostering collaborative partnerships and advancing integrated care solutions for our communities. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Director of Integrated Care. In this pivotal role, you will play a central part in driving our mission forward, ensuring alignment with our objectives and Ontario Health mandates.

As the Director of Integrated Care, you will lead the development and execution of KHWOHT work plans, collaborating with working groups and advisory committees to achieve our shared goals. You will advocate for resources, oversee project status, and promote KHWOHT priorities at both organizational and system levels.


  • Degree in public administration, business administration, healthcare administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum five years of leadership experience in healthcare operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex teams and develop comprehensive reports.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems and capacity planning analytics.
  • Familiarity with First Nation, Inuit, and Metis health policies.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and navigate ambiguity effectively.


  • Provide oversight and guidance to KHWOHT work plans.
  • Remove barriers for working groups and advocate for necessary resources.
  • Remain current on project status and provide progress updates.
  • Foster partnerships and relationships with stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings with other Ontario Health Teams and share insights.
  • Coordinate advocacy efforts with other levels of government.
  • Support the implementation of KHWOHT initiatives.

Partnership Opportunities:

  • Facilitate positive relationships within the KHWOHT system.
  • Support partner organizations in aligning with KHWOHT objectives.
  • Ensure patient, client, and provider input in decision-making processes.
  • Foster partnerships across sectors and communities.

Project Management & Leadership:

  • Provide strategic support to working group and advisory committee leads.
  • Develop and monitor project plans to ensure alignment and meet milestones.
  • Lead the development of reports, presentations, and communications.
  • Identify risks and mitigation strategies for transformative ideas.


Ontario Health Compliance:

  • Establish work plans for provincial metrics and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with Transfer Payment Agreement requirements.
  • Participate in learning opportunities offered by Ontario Health.
