The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following permanent part time (30 hours/week) position with a highly motivated, team-orientated professional:

Fundraising Coordinator

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and accountable to the Dryden Regional Health Services Foundation Board of Directors (DRHSF), the Fundraising Coordinator provides administrative support of the DRHSF, and is directly responsible for supporting the fundraising initiatives and projects of the Dryden Regional Health Services Foundation. These projects are related to the recruitment and retention of health professionals and capital building and equipment for the DRHC. This is a work from home position.


The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for implementing the community fundraising strategy that includes:

  • Marketing projects and initiatives to service clubs, local business and philanthropic individuals
  • Assisting service clubs in developing and delivering fundraising events
  • Administering receipt of funds and donor recognition programs
  • Working with and supporting volunteer campaign initiatives
  • Providing communications, social media relations, and public relations strategies and expertise as required.
  • Working collaboratively with the Dryden Regional Health Services Foundation Board of Directors


The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Dryden Regional Health Services Foundation that includes:

  • Organizing meetings
  • Distributing documents and information
  • Taking minutes of Board Meetings
  • Arranging events as required
  • Recruitment and orientation of Board Members



The ideal candidate will possess the following key competencies, record of experience and academic preparation:

  • Post secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Board Governance
  • Experience in fundraising, events, project management
  • Experience working with Charity and Non-profit organizations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Home office requirements
  • Excellent networking and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour
  • Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Respect
  • Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status to be presented prior to hire
