The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following positions with highly motivated, team-orientated professionals in our Health Records Department:

Permanent Full Time Clinical Information Technician

Reporting to the Manager-CLinical Information, the Clinical Information Technician plays an integral role in the processing, maintaining and compliance of health information.

Responsibilities

  • Health Record Maintenance: Transcription of Medical Dictation, chart assembly / Quality Assurance preparation
  • Release of Information
  • Processing statistical data information, coding, collection and dissemination
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • CHIMA Qualified
  • Demonstrable Computer and Typing Skills
  • Good Physical health
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including superior verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour
  • Proven attendance record
  • Able to perform the essential duties of the job
  • Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Respect
  • Proof of Covid 19 Vaccination presented prior to hire
