The Kiiwetinoong Healing Waters Ontario Health Team (KHWOHT) is dedicated to fostering collaborative partnerships and advancing integrated care solutions for our communities. We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as Project & Evaluation Lead.

 

This role requires a project management professional with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure the successful execution of initiatives that improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. Reporting to the Director of Integrated Care, The Project & Evaluation Lead plays an important role in managing projects and implementing the work of the Kiiwetinoong Healing Waters Ontario Health Team (KHWOHT). This is a Work from Home/ virtual position; therefore, we are looking for a highly organized and collaborative professional, who will operate effectively in a remote working environment

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and evaluation plans
  • Coordinate the documentation and dissemination of project outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices
  • Successfully lead and embed changes aligned with the Ontario Health Teams (OHT) priorities and principles
  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the OHT and across regional OHTs and the Regional Specialized Services Network, to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to project team/working group members, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project objectives
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may impact project success
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and governmental bodies
  • Lead effective project meetings, providing regular updates to stakeholders and adapting plans as needed
  • Lead evaluation of working groups using logic models, theories of change, and quality improvement
  • Prepare and present project status and evaluation reports to senior leadership and collaboration councils

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in successfully managing complex projects in healthcare or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field. Master's/Doctoral degree is an asset
  • Experience in project evaluation and measurement
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively
  • Experience in risk assessment and mitigation
  • Change management experience and training
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality improvement methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams
  • Valid Driver's license and ability to travel within the KHWOHT region if necessary
  • Ability to work flexibly based on project needs

This is a Non-Union position; salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience $39.96/hr-$43.32/hr.
