The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking a dynamic and collaborative healthcare leader for the following Executive opportunity:

Vice President, Clinical Services

The Vice President, Clinical Services provides strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of clinical and regional services at Dryden Regional Health Centre. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President is accountable for advancing organizational priorities through clinical excellence, quality improvement, innovation, and strong regional partnerships. This role supports high-quality patient care, service integration, and the continued evolution of healthcare delivery across Northwestern Ontario.

  • Clinical Laboratory Services
  • Diagnostic Imaging
  • Rehabilitation Services
  • Family Health Team & Mental Health Services
  • Ontario Health Team initiatives and partnerships

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across assigned clinical portfolios.
  • Lead service planning, quality improvement, patient safety, and accreditation activities.
  • Ensure effective management of financial, human, and physical resources.
  • Develop and implement operational plans aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Foster strong relationships with physicians, staff, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Advance regional partnerships, system integration, and innovative models of care.
  • Participate as an active member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a healthcare, business, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum five years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading operational and strategic initiatives in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Strong experience in change management, strategic planning, financial stewardship, and team development.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • CHE designation is considered an asset.
