The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following position with a highly motivated, team-orientated professional:

Casual Registered Nurse

Operating Room/ Same Day Care

As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, Dryden Regional Health Centre's Nurses provide comprehensive compassionate nursing care to a variety of clients. We are a community hospital that is committed to patient centred care, evidence based practice and continuous quality improvement. As a Registered Nurse you will provide and co-ordinate nursing care to assigned clients consistent with current Standards of Professional Practice with the Ontario College of Nurses.

Required:

• Current Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider
• Two (2) years' Operating Room experience considered an asset
• Experience working in Emergency, Critical Care and OBS would be an asset
• Good Physical health
• Demonstration of strong nursing practice, skill and judgment
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including superior verbal communication abilities
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour
• Proven attendance record
• Able to perform the essential duties of the job
• Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Respect
