Permanent Full Time Registered Nurse

The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following Permanent Full-Time position with a highly-motivated, team orientated professional in our Nursing Department:

Permanent Full Time Registered Nurse

As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, Dryden Regional Health Centre's Registered Nurses provide comprehensive compassionate nursing care to a variety of clients. We are a community hospital that is committed to patient centred care, evidence based practice and continuous quality improvement. As a Full Time Registered Nurse you will provide and co-ordinate nursing care to assigned clients consistent with current Standards of Professional Practice with the Ontario College of Nurses.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Advanced Life Support Certificate, Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale, Trauma Nursing Core Course preferred
  • Willingness to participate in more OB
  • Two (2) years of experience in Nursing preferred
  • Experience working in Critical Care and Emergency an asset
  • Certification of Emergency Nursing through CNA preferred
  • Completion of Emergency Nursing Program preferred
  • Completion of recognized ICU program preferred
  • Good Physical health
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Demonstration of strong nursing practice, skill and judgment
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including superior verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, leadership and mentoring skills
  • Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour
  • Proven attendance record
  • Able to perform the essential duties of the job
  • Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Respect
  • Proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination is required prior to hire
