The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking a Temporary Full-Time

Human Resources Summer Student

As the Human Resources Summer Student, you will provide support in daily administrative tasks required within the HR department. You will be exposed to various functions of Human Resources including Recruitment, Onboarding, HRIS, Staffing and Employee Relations. The successful candidate will be a detail oriented, committed student who prides themselves on their work ethic and positive attitude.

Position Requirements:

The skills and attributes required to successfully fulfill these responsibilities include:

  • Must be a full-time student in the 2023-23 school year at a post-secondary education institution and be returning to school full-time for the 2023-24 school season
  • Candidates enrolled in a post-secondary program in Human Resources, Business or Administration preferred
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Understanding and commitment to confidentiality
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour
  • Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Respect
  • Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status to be presented prior to hire

Position Details:

This position will provide support to the work of the HR department and DRHC by performing a variety of tasks such as:

  • Manage HR files, ensuring security, integrity and confidentiality of information
  • Daily scheduling, Time & Attendance duties
  • Provide support to the HR team with employee related inquiries as required
  • Assist in full-cycle recruitment processes
  • Other duties as required
