Temporary Full Time Physiotherapist - Hospital Based

The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following Temporary Full-Time position with a highly motivated, team-orientated professional:

Temporary Full Time Physiotherapist

Responsibilities Include:

  • Rotating Physiotherapist position - 6 months in full time outpatient or inpatient setting, followed by 6 months in Home Care and outpatient setting.
  • Inpatient comprise all age ranges and a large variety of conditions, working in a supportive interdisciplinary environment.
  • Outpatients are primarily orthopaedics, with a small caseload of neurological, cardiac rehab, and Rheumatology.
  • Homecare involves treating geriatric population in their homes.
  • Documenting clinical findings in accordance with the regulations of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Physiotherapy
  • License to practice in Ontario with Ontario College of Physiotherapy
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Demonstrated ability to apply theoretical knowledge in problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Ability to communicate and function under pressure
  • Ability to communicate clearly, teach, problem solve, and organize
  • Ability to lead and work well in cooperation with co-workers and other departments
  • Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Effective organizational and written skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Good physical health
  • Proven attendance record
  • Able to work and manage a case load independently and work with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrates behaviours consistent with the Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct
  • Demonstrates behaviours consistent with the DRHC's Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion, and Respect
  • Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status to be presented prior to hire
